Pelvic Floor & Core Program

Our "Pelvic Floor & Core Program" is designed to connect with and progressively build core and pelvic floor strength. The course gradually progresses from low to moderate to high impact exercises varied with options for your individual level of strength & skill.

 

Program info:

  • 8 Week Program

  • Designed & guided by a Women’s Health Physio

  • Weekly 45 min class for 8 weeks in clinic

  • Home exercises provided on app

  • Babies welcome

  • Initial WH Physio assessment required

  • $240 (may be claimable with private health insurance)

The program is suitable for:

  • Postnatal (>6 weeks post)

  • Peri & post menopause

  • Pelvic floor conditions/dysfunction

  • Post hysterectomy or other gynaecological surgery (>6 weeks post)​

Prenatal Yoga Class

Poses & Pins

Pregnancy Yoga & Acuneedling Class

We are excited to introduce a new class, a prenatal yoga class by a Women's Health Physio, with acuneedling by our in-house acuneedling Midwife, Danielle!

 

"POSES"

The session will include therapeutic yoga poses specifically programmed for pregnancy by a Women’s Health Physio

​

"PINS"

Participants will receive acupuncture by an acuneedling Midwife towards the end of the yoga practice to enhance relaxation.

 

Poses & Pins is safe at any point in pregnancy.

Mother and a Child

Baby & Child First Aid Course

Would you like to learn how to confidently react in an emergency situation involving a child? Join us for a 2-hour baby & child first aid course with Sue Wells from Express First Aid. Topics covered include fits, asthma attacks, allergic reactions, breathing problems, choking, burns, & more.

Please note the course is not an accredited course, however it is run by experienced senior training consultants.

​

Training Women Workshop

for Fitness Professionals

Our "Training Women Workshop" is run by experienced Women's Health Physiotherapists designed specifically for local fitness professionals that work with women.

 

TOPICS INCLUDE:

  • Pelvic anatomy & the pelvic floor

  • Exercise & general pelvic floor consideration​

  • Exercise in pregnancy & pelvic floor considerations

  • Postnatal exercises

  • Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) & exercise with prolapse

  • Exercise during & after menopause

  • Abdominal Separation

  • Training around the menstrual cycle
